Fremont, Nebraska - The Fremont Moo and Hastings Sodbusters met to play game two of a three game series, Tuesday night at Historic Moller Field. After a twenty-seven minute weather delay in the top of the fourth inning, play resumed. However, inclement weather rolled into Fremont and the game was suspended, tied at 1-1, in the bottom of the fifth inning.

The two teams will complete Tuesday night's suspended game Wednesday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thirty minutes after the completion of the suspended game, the regularly scheduled Wednesday night game will be played.

Fremont started the scoring in the bottom of the first. Off Hastings starter Braden Cork, Josh Blount led off with a single to center field. Then, Isaac Bonner singled through the right side of the infield, to put runners at first and third. The next batter, Stephen Espinoza, hit a fly ball down the left field side in foul territory, which Sodbusters' left fielder Jackson Crain caught while crashing into and over the side fence, and going out of play with the ball. The out was recorded, but Blount was awarded home and Bonner was awarded second, thus making the score, 1-0.

In the top of the fourth inning, Fremont starter Reece Kortum retired the first two batters, before Yamato Sato reached on a walk. Then, lightning in the area halted play for twenty-seven minutes.

When play resumed, Kortum gave up a double to Matis Crouwiel to the left field fence, putting runners at second and third. However, Kortum got Jackson Crain to ground out to third, ending the inning.

After Fremont was retired in order in the bottom of the fourth, Hastings tied the game in the top of the fifth. Fred Bohn led off with a single. Jack Borgman reached on a fielder's choice, forcing Bohn out at second, for the first out. Then, Luke Ray doubled to right field, scoring Borgman to tie the game at 1-1.

In the bottom of the fifth, Fremont's Connor Petersen led off with a bunt single. Then, Hunter Snyder was at the plate with a 1-0 count when the game was suspended.

Wednesday's full game at Historic Moller Field is "Winning Wednesday". There will be 9 innings of winnings, with all raffle proceeds to benefit the Fremont Family YMCA. Every inning that the Moo win, there will be $1 off food/drinks (excluding candy), until the next inning. It's also "Moo Win...You Win!". If the Moo win, fans are encouraged to keep their game ticket and redeem it at the July 24th game versus The Bison for a free general admission ticket. Also, there will be Tommy's Express Works Wash giveaways.
